Baltimore Baptist Association

Baltimore Baptist Association

As a Southern Baptist Association, we deeply value both our autonomy and our ability to partner with quality partners.  Below are some of our great partners:

IMB

The International Mission Board (or IMB, formerly the Foreign Mission Board) is a missionary sending agency affiliated with the Southern Baptist Convention (SBC) which operates in virtually every nation except the United States and Canada (these nations are serviced by the SBC’s North American Mission Board). The IMB receives most of its funding through the SBC’s Cooperative Program and the annual Lottie Moon Christmas Offering taken up in Southern Baptist congregations.

NAMB

The estimated 46,000 autonomous churches that cooperate together with the Southern Baptist Convention pool their resources to support the work of the North American Mission Board. Formerly known as the Home Mission Board, this entity was renamed the North American Mission Board (NAMB) in 1997. The stated mission of NAMB is to “work with churches, associations and state conventions in mobilizing Southern Baptists as a missional force to impact North America with the Gospel of Jesus Christ through evangelism and church planting.”

BCMD

The Baptist Convention of Maryland & Delaware is strategically located in the heart of the mid-Atlantic region. From the suburbs of the nation’s Capitol to the mountains of western Maryland to the seashore to the Chesapeake Bay watershed to the urban centers of Baltimore and Wilmington, MABN serves its constituent churches. The two states represent a highly diverse population with nearly six million people organized in twenty-seven counties.

The BCMD is organized throughout eleven geographic associations within the two states and in cooperation with over 535 churches. We are committed to the expressed vision of planting new churches and strengthening existing ones.
